I was 13 and my Sunday School teacher took our class to see it at the Chinese. I was kind of amazed I was getting to see it because I wanted to see everything in those days and hardly ever got to go to the movies.

3 years old with my grandpa, at a theater somewhere in the Valley. I remember a huuuuuuge line that we had to wait what seemed like forever (to a 3-year old). Ponda Baba getting his arm cut off was the scariest thing I'd seen in my life up to that point.

All right. I was 12. His name was Paolo. We were both in the legislative youth program. He was a few years older than I was. Very cute. Dark curly hair, dreamy eyes...
